Something old, something new,

something borrowed, something blue.

Something new….

Canoe Lake Comet arrived here on Saturday from Canoe Lake Farm in Winterville, GA. He is the son of our Patchwork Macgyver and Sally McLaren’s lovely Blue Ewe Blazing Star. He’s a lilac with all the right markings, a very promising hornset (fingers crossed as always!) and a quite nice fleece. I’m delighted with him. He’s not delighted with me as he goes through his halter training 🙂 But he is catching on fast.

Something old..

A trip through history with some old pictures of Comet’s ancestors

Jacquee’s Junco (Limnaki Nesos x GSW Juniper), great grandsire

GSW Juniper (Puddleduck Sir Godfrey x Limnaki Sophia) She’s pretty elderly in this picture.

Hardy Hill Leo, great great grandsire to Comet.

Something borrowed:

Since my van is still sitting in the shop with the engine out, I borrowed Dave and his truck.

Something blue:

Comet’s pretty blue eyes 🙂

Wow, what great pictures. Love having the pictorial history of some of his ancestors; so cool!
